Matt Jackson

Matt Jackson assumed his role as chief technology officer and senior vice president of Insight's Solutions Portfolio in March 2023.

In this role, he works with fellow teammates, clients and partners to identify trends and position Insight to best support clients' digital transformation goals. Drawing on his extensive technology and services experience, Matt guides Insight's solutions portfolio by creating cutting-edge capabilities and offerings that align with the latest technology advancements. With a "challenge is an opportunity" mindset, Matt sees every obstacle as a way to push boundaries and pave the way for technological innovation.

Prior to Insight, Matt helped found BlueMetal in 2009, where he held numerous positions — from a technical thought leader for modern application development, productivity and security, to leading the software consulting services team, where he ensured consultants had everything they needed to meet clients' needs.

Matt earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and started his career as a consultant at Primix Solutions, followed by positions as a software architect and regional director at Burntstand, where he managed large application development teams that worked directly with clients.
