John Dathan

John Dathan joined Insight in 2018 as the senior vice president and general manager of Insight Canada. He’s tasked with delivering Insight’s solutions to the Canadian market.

He started his career in technology as a PC salesman while studying marketing and finance at Concordia University in Montreal. From 1999 to 2005, he held sales leadership roles at Nortel Networks. Then, from 2005 to 2014, Dathan worked at Juniper Networks as the Canadian enterprise general manager. His roles continued to broaden, and he joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2014, working his way up to vice president and general manager in Canada.

Dathan leverages more than 35 years of sales and business management experience in the IT industry to foster deep partner relationships and create meaningful connections with clients, helping them manage their current IT needs and transform ahead of future challenges. He guides Insight Canada’s overall strategy to meet customer needs through unique processes, tools and services provided via Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™.
