Mike Gaumond

Senior Vice President, Strategy
Insight North America

Mike Gaumond assumed his role as senior vice president of strategy in Jan. 2022. He joined Insight in 2011 to grow Insight’s services organization as a senior vice president. Over the years, Gaumond played a role in supporting Insight’s strategic direction around solution development and strategic acquisitions.  

Prior to Insight, Gaumond worked at Gradient where he established a consulting firm to help design and execute growth strategies for technology companies. He also worked at Beamz Interactive, a startup that he led from prototype to product launch after securing a $4 million investment.

Gaumond earned a degree in computer science and math from the University of Wisconsin and his MBA from the University of Minnesota. Gaumond also worked at Motorola as a vice president where he gained experience developing solutions that packaged software, hardware and services.

Today, Gaumond shapes Insight’s strategic direction by aligning internal teams to new go to market initiatives and seeking merger and acquisition opportunities. When Gaumond isn’t helping clients achieve their most ambitious goals with Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™, he helps build community at Insight and beyond.

Gaumond is the executive sponsor of Insight’s teammate resource group Afro-Professionals and Allies at Insight. He also has experience serving on the board at nonprofits, businesses and community-based organizations. He sits on the Arizona Technology Council board and has previously served the Make A Wish Foundation of Arizona board as chair.
